Alumni Spotlight – Collin Sanderson (\’06)

Collin Sanderson is a Chicago-based actor originally from Irvine, California. After graduating from the chorus in 2005, Collin went on to attend the Orange County School of the Arts where he studied Musical Theatre. From their his artistic pursuits led him to Chicago where he received his BFA in Musical Theatre from The Theatre Conservatory, Chicago College of Performing Arts (CCPA) at Roosevelt University.

Collin\’s regional credits include: Elf the Musical (Ensemble/Charlie u/s) at The Marriott Theatre; Mary Poppins (Ensemble), Hairspray (Sketch), Swing! (Dancer), Beanstalk the Musical (Jack), The Wizard of Oz (Ensemble), and The Addams Family (Lucas Beineke) at The Little Theatre on the Square. He favorite credits at CCPA include: Andrew Lippa\’s The Wild Party (Phil d\’Armano), Thoroughly Modern Millie (Speed Tapper/Ensemble), and the Midwest premier of Ripper the Musical (Ripper Chorus). Collin was also in the first professional staged production of the new musical Higher Education (Justin u/s performed) written by the award winning producers of Memphis and Hair: Tim Kashani and Pamela Winslow Kashani.

Collin is proud to be a working actor in the Chicago area and is grateful to his family and friends for their unwavering love and support.
